Modular Aluminium Space Frame System
The Oblik System was designed and developed to provide a modular lightweight load bearing structure.
The system is based on an oblique beam manufactured from lightweight aluminium sections.
The beam diagonals are out of plane creating a 3D framework when the trusses are bolted together side by side and the system also includes standard hanging points and rolling supports.

The system consists of only three member types which are a ladder beam, brace member and a spigot.
The OBLIK system in its simplest form is assembled using traditional nuts and bolts requiring just a 24mm ratchet and spanner.
When the standard components are assembled it produces a modular lightweight load-bearing structure with a wide variety of uses.
Truss UK offers a range of components for OBLIK including, Ladder Sections, Brace Sections and Spigots.
Standard ladder sections come in 1.2m, 2.4m and 4.8m lengths. However, other lengths are available upon request.
Ladder sections are the heaviest component of OBLIK with the 2.4m section of OBLIK 600 weighing in at just 15.5kg per unit.
Ladders can be stacked for easy transport and minimal storage space.
Brace sections come in three variations, Plain Brace, Single Brace and Double Brace end.
Bracing components weigh less than 1.5kg per unit and are manufactured from 48mm tube.
Bracing members in the upper and lower plane of the structure have a point loading capacity of 350kg and 900kg as a uniformly distributed load.
Spigots are used in the OBLIK system to join ladder sections together.
The spigots feature a simple bolted connection which allows for easy assembly of the OBLIK system.
